By launching a new generation of bio-circular vinyl resins, we are enabling customers to innovate their PVC products and take the next step in PVC’s sustainability journey.
Our bio-circular PVC portfolio is manufactured using ethylene derived from waste and residues of biological origin that don’t compete with the food chain (e.g. used cooking oil).

This results in a CO2 emission reduction of more than 90% compared to conventionally produced PVC.

Quality

Our bio-circular PVC resins meet the exact same stringent performance criteria as our conventionally produced PVC grades.

Customers will be able to process the new PVC resins with their existing equipment, under identical process conditions. 

The bio-circular range is available for both rigid and flexible applications in all market sectors and includes a wide range of K-values.

CERTIFIED MASS BALANCE APPROACH

We partnered with sustainability consultancy group Meo Carbon Solutions and selected the ISCC PLUS framework to certify our bio-circular PVC grades according to a mass balance approach.

ISCC is a globally applicable sustainability certification system that covers all sustainable feedstocks, including agricultural and forestry biomass, circular materials and renewables. The ISCC certification scheme requires strict traceability with a chain of custody based on a mass balance attribution and is verified by independent third-party auditors.
