Position

The person in this role is primarily responsible for leading the Vynova Supply Chain organisation for all the Vynova Businesses and affiliated sites. The objective is to ensure that efficient and effective tools, processes and data are available to steer the supply chain and businesses, its safe operations, and to adapt and evolve these as required by the strategy and evolution of the Group, for the safe movement of close to 4 million tonnes of products.

Key responsibilities include:
•    Developing and steering the overall supply chain strategy for all businesses and driving continuous improvements in supply chain processes. The objective is to contribute to the company's overall performance, for its customers, operations and consequent profit performance.
•    Analysing and adapting the supply chain to meet the company's objectives. This requires adopting transparent, agile processes and an organisation supported by appropriate processes and tools.
•    Defining a series of projects to develop the supply chain strategy and related change management processes.
•    Ensuring efficient, effective and sustainable supply chain processes for safe operations and acting as the top-level contact for the escalation of issues. 
•    Ensuring the development of standard work processes, guidelines and tools and optimising the interaction between supply chain activities and key stakeholders.
•    Further optimising relevant processes including Order To Cash, Market to Sell, Forecast to Stock, Procure to Pay, and the Source to Contract process for Logistics Procurement. Enabling a close integration with across sites and commercial activities.
•    Developing the Group's procurement strategy for logistics to reduce costs and improve quality and service.
•    Ensuring integration of Business Support and Supply Chain Excellence activities within the overall supply chain and its organisation and processes.
•    Leading, motivating and developing subordinates and establishing the appropriate organization and processes.

Reporting to the Executive Vice President Commercial and with regular interaction with Business Managers, Site Leaders and the Management Board, the person in this role leads a team of 56 people across the Vynova Group, (soon to be close to 70 people with the upcoming 
integration of new sites). This includes eight direct reports including three strategic buyers, three customer service leads, a SSC & Supply Chain Excellence lead and a Group Planning Manager.
 


Profile

  • The ideal candidate for the Vice President Supply Chain role is a seasoned leader with at least 10 years of experience managing complex supply chain operations, preferably in an international chemicals manufacturing environment. They have successfully led supply chain teams across multiple sites and geographies, with hands-on experience in site logistics, project management, process development, and integrating new sites.
  • This individual brings a solid understanding of all aspects of supply chain management, including the technical expertise to assess and address current and future operational needs across various sites. They understand how supply chain activities connect with other functions and are focused on anticipating future requirements related to business growth, customer expectations, digital transformation, and sustainability.
  • A deep interest in understanding the business, financial performance and market dynamics underpins their work. They prioritize key aspects of supply chain leadership that support corporate goals, inspire teams, and drive improvements in processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, including S&OP.
  • This is a leader who inspires trust through expertise, strong communication, and a collaborative approach. They are skilled negotiators with the ability to build long-term relationships across all levels of the organization, as well as with social partners and communities in diverse cultural settings.
